When we started the coaching, it was about maintaining my allergy free life, which you resolved for me 5 years ago. I had no idea that our sessions would lead to a deep friendship with my brother who I have not been on good terms with for over 10 years. This took only 2 months of work with you and I thank you for that gift.

Brooke Loening was my life coach for one year while I was going through a marital separation and a divorce. He offered a series of practical exercises that helped me to navigate the challenges of this emotional time. These exercises involved writing, journal keeping, and dialoging. This was a simple, straightforward and surprisingly enjoyable process that gave me the tools and awareness to navigate this difficult situation. It worked.

When I first started the coaching work with Brooke, I was having intense issues in my relationship with my father. Through the coaching work I became aware of many of the issues and attitudes that I was harboring inside myself which were affecting the relationship. As I have grown personally I believe that I have become a different person- more at peace, more loving, and more understanding. Now when I get together with my father instead of a button-pushing bonanza, we can actually spend time together and even enjoy each other as people. This is a huge step for me, and one that years of previous work has not been able to change. Thanks!

I came to Brooke 4 months ago seeking help with nutrition. I got that, and more. I was reluctant at first to allow Brooke into my life in the capacity of Life Coach, since I have other support in place. I find Brooke’s method of gently helping me to name my limiting beliefs, and to move beyond them, extremely effective. I have made breakthroughs in the areas of my relationships, both professional and personal, since working with Brooke. Personally, I find him loving and compassionate, funny, and non-judgmental. Brooke is helping me to re-parent myself, and to finally get to a place of self-acceptance that I have been working toward for years.

Brooke's coaching was where the rubber meets the road for me. Unlike some other life coach's, I never felt Brooke's method to overly philosophical, and I never felt silly or that I was wasting my time. If, after: arguing with your spouse, failing to exercise, regretting that you helped yourself to thirds, etc., you've ever found yourself saying: "I know I'm not supposed to do this, but..." Brooke will help you identify what that "but" is for you . Brooke will then engage in constructive--never scolding or judgmental--dialogue to help develop a plan to identify and address why a particular behavior has become habitual and why you have been unable to effectuate change in that area of your life. Brooke is very supportive of setbacks and works to lay the foundation for long-term growth and changes--no quick fixes here!

I have been a client of Brooke’s since ’04 and find the work keeps me on track and always moving forward. The weekly coaching sessions have enabled me to have a greater level of awareness about many important issues in my life, from what makes a healthy diet to dealing with family situations in a more productive way. I find that the regular conversations with Brooke keep a positive momentum for me so that I am always making progress and that way I am less likely to return to old ways.
